Rapunzel let down her hair, finally (and in 3-D) as Disney held the World Premiere of their new animated film TANGLED at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California.
It was a long backdrop that was painted to look like Rapunzel’s hair. Wigs were handed out to some of the photographers, myself included and we wore them while shooting. Mandy Moore (Rapunzel) and Zachary Levi (Flynn Rider) posed with us as the photographers on the carpet shot our photos. It was fun, except that the long wig kept catching on everything!
Walking the carpet were the stars of the film, which included Moore, Levi, Jeffrey Tambor (Big Nose Thug), John Lasseter (Executive Producer), Roy Conli (Producer), Alan Menken (Composer/Songwriter), Glenn Slater (Lyricist), Dan Fogelman (Writer), and Directors Nathan Greno and Bryon Howard.
Joining them were guests, which included Kenton Duty, Caroline Sunshine, Rick Fox, Adam Irigoyen, Jadin Gould, Kevin Sorbo, Garrett Backstrom, Bella Thorne, Kathryn Newton, Katelyn Pippy, Melinda McGraw, Steve Pierson, Yvette Nicole Brown, Joshua Gomez, Amy Pham, Zendaya, Jimmy Bennett, Yvonne Strahovski, Reggie Miller, Caitlyn Taylor Love, Harry Shum Jr., Atticus Shaffer, China McClain, Frankie Jonas, Jenna Ushkowitz, Roshon Fegan, Julie Benz, Gilles Marini, Grace Potter, Bailee Madison, Garcel Beauvais, Vik Sahay, Holly Robinson Peete and Stephanie Pratt.
TANGLED is rated PG and is in theaters now.
