AMERICA’S GOT TALENT Recap: Wild Card Results Show

Judge Piers Morgan couldn’t be smugger tonight on AMERICA’S GOT TALENT. Three out of the four acts picked to move on to the AGT semi-finals were his Wild Card picks. Only one was Sharon Osbourne’s and that leaves none for Howie Mandel.

Morgan gained massive bragging rights while four more acts won the chance to compete next week for the title of AMERICA’S GOT TALENT season six champ. First to make it to the semi finals was West Springfield Dance Team which took out Shevonne and Yellow Designs Stunt Team.

Les Miserable performed for the audience while we waited for the next three picks. The new production will be touring all of North America. Back to the eliminations – Charles Peachock – no surprise, he is yet another juggler who dropped his props – was sent home. Also sent packing was Avery and The Calico Hearts and, once again, Those Funny Little People, who Morgan swore that if they were sent through he would vacate America immediately never to return. Morgan isn’t going anywhere and neither – the Kinetic King made it through to next week.

In the competition between the two illusionists Landon Swank, a Morgan pick, won out as the third pick in the Wild Card show, besting Seth Grabel, a Mandel pick.

A quick performance by Colbie Caillat kept the last three acts in utter suspense. J. Chris Newberg, The Fiddleheads and Summerwind Skippers were the last to get the news. In the end it came down to Mandel vs. Morgan or in other words The Fiddleheads vs. Summerwind Skippers. And whom do you think won out? Yes, of course, Morgan! America did not agree with any of Mandel’s picks and three of Morgan’s picks and, once again, only one of Osbourne’s picks. Summerwind Skippers is the fourth act to move on to the semi-finals next week.

Finally the AGT Semi-Finals! It feels like we have been waiting for this all summer. Let the real competition begin! Stay tuned!
