It’s that time of year again, as the network’s begin their upfront presentations of what to expect for their fall schedules.
The Fox network kicked things off today in New York as they announced their aggressive Fall and Midseason plans, placing the anticipated Steven Spielberg produced TERRA NOVA series on Monday nights in the fall while Midseason Monday nights will debut the new J.J. Abrams genre series ALCATRAZ.
Comedy is playing a huge part of the schedule too, as the network will debut NEW GIRL on Tuesday nights in between GLEE and RAISING HOPE, while in the Spring, when GLEE goes on its midseason hiatus, the network will schedule a two-hour comedy block on Tuesdays for several weeks.
It’s also no surprise that THE X FACTOR will slip into AMERICAN IDOL’s normal time slot in the fall airing Wednesday and Thursday nights.
Below is Fox’s new schedule. Cancelled shows include THE CHICAGO CODE, LIE TO ME, BREAKING IN, HUMAN TARGET and TRAFFIC LIGHT.
