While speaking about the new X-MEN: FIRST CLASS Blu-ray hitting stores this Friday, September 9, ASSIGNMENT X spoke with producer Lauren Shuler-Donner about the franchise (click here for the full interview) and the status of the DEADPOOL movie (click here). We also asked her about the status of WOLVERINE 2 aka THE WOLVERINE to be directed by James Mangold.
The talk was brief, but here’s what she had to say.
ASSIGNMENT X: What’s the status of the new WOLVERINE movie?
LAUREN SHULER-DONNER: We’re still working on that and moving forward.
AX: Will it be the Japan storyline?
SHULER-DONNER: Yes it will?
AX: Will we see new mutants in that one that we haven’t seen before?
SHULER-DONNER: We’re still not sure.
