Paramount Pictures, Bad Robot and Amblin Entertainment Productions held the Los Angeles Premiere of SUPER 8 at the Regency Village in Westwood June 8th.
It’s the summer of 1979, and a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie. Soon though they suspect the crash was not an accident. Unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town and as the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth they discover something more terrifying than any of them could imagine.
J.J. Abrams wrote and directed SUPER 8, and many of the stars that walked the black carpet had previously worked with him, and producer Steven Spielberg,
Seen walking the carpet were the stars of the film, which included: Kyle Chandler, Elle Fanning, Joel Courtney, Riley Griffiths, Gabriel Basso, Ryan Lee, Zach Mills, Amanda “AJ” Michalka, Noah Emmerich, David Gallagher, Tony Guma, composer Michael Giacchino, Greg Grunberg, and Beau Knapp, joined J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg.
Joining them were guests, which included: Tom Cruise, Samantha Harris, Leon Thomas III, Ciara Bravo, Annalise Basso, Aly Michalka, Jorge Garcia, Kenny Wormald, Nolan Gould, Paz Vega, Noah Munck, Jim Caviezel, Neville Page, Pete Wentz, Mario Van Peeples, Abigail Carpenter, James Hebert, Jeff Garlin, TJ Miller, Conan O’Brien, Jon Favreau, Jenna Elfman, Bodhi Elfman, Clifton Collins, Jr., Lee DeWyze, Wendy Braun, Josh Coxx, Michael Clarke Duncan, Tom Hiddleston, Theo Rossi, Kate Capshaw, Josh Holloway, Brad Grey, Matt Bennett, Katie McGrath, and Jaime King.
Unfortunately, Chris Pine did not walk the carpet.
