Universal Pictures held the World Premiere of THE THING at Universal Studios Hollywood AMC Citywalk Stadium 19 in Universal City on October 10th.

THE THING is a prequel to a remake of an adaptation of the novella “Who Goes There?” by John W. Campbell Jr., published in 1938 and the 1982 film starring Kurt Russell.

Seen walking the carpet were the stars of the film, which included: Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ulrich Thomsen, Eric Christian Olsen, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kim Bubbe, Kristofer Hivju, Jonathan Lloyd Walker, Matthijs van Heijningen (Director), Eric Heisserer (Writer), Gabrielle Neimand and David Foster (Executive Producers), Mark Abraham (Producer), Alec Gillis and Tom Woodruff Jr. (special makeup and creature effects).

Joining them were guests, which included: John Murdy (producer of Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights and THE THING: ASSIMILATION Maze), Sarah Wright, Daniele Rush, Dylan Minnette, Reggie Range, David Bautista, Selena Gomez, Miguel Rodarte, Marilyn Manson, Eli Roth, and Aaron Paul.
