November 3rd was a very crowded day on Hollywood Blvd. as Twilight fans took over the street to be at THE TWILIGHT SAGA HANDPRINT AND FOOTPRINT CEREMONY at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. I heard that fans were camped out the night before to get a good spot to see Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, and they were not disappointed. A few lucky ones got to be behind the stage, while others were in the middle of Hollywood Blvd.
Jimmy Kimmel was the host of the event and introduced the lady that created the books, and started this vampire phenomenon…Stephenie Meyer. Meyer after speaking to the crowd of fans, and press introduced Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner and the crowd went wild as they walked out of the theatre.
Kristen was first to speak and thank the fans, and then Robert spoke. Then the ceremony started. The trio laughed as they signed their names…put their hands and feet in the cement.
THE TWILIGHT SAGA: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, brings the trio back together and will be released by Summit Entertainment on November 18th.
