At today’s TCA Cable Press Tour, BBC America announced they will be embarking on a co-production with BBC One of MUSKETEERS – a new series written by Adrian Hodges (PRIMEVAL, SURVIVORS).
The series will debut in 2014 and is inspired by the classic Alexandre Dumas novel THE THREE MUSKETEERS. Although set in the 17th Century, the series will bring a more contemporary and realistic take on the story of a “trained band of brothers who are assigned to protect King and country” as the press release says.
