Recently Fox Searchlight Pictures held the Los Angeles Premiere of RUBY SPARKS at the Lloyd E. Rigler Theatre at The Egyptian in Hollywood.
RUBY SPARKS is the story of Calvin (Paul Dano), a young novelist who after achieving success early in his career finds himself struggling with his writing and his romantic life. Creating a character named Ruby, he finds that she inspires him, but when he sees Ruby (Zoe Kazan) sitting on his couch a week later, he is completely flabbergasted that his words have turned into a living, breathing person.
Seen walking the carpet were the stars of the film, which included: Zoe Kazan (Star/Writer/Executive Producer), Paul Dano (Star/Executive Producer), Chris Messina, Toni Trucks, Deborah Ann Woll, Nick Urata (Composer), Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris (Directors), and Producers Ron Yerxa and Albert Berger.
Joining them were guests, which included: Richard Greico, Sterling Beaumon, Alex Lombard, E.J. Scott, Mark Duplass, Katie Aselton, and Mimi Gianopulos.
