Lara Pulver is no stranger to genre television viewers. Her roles on BBC America’s ROBIN HOOD, MI-5, and HBO’s TRUE BLOOD have made her a familiar face. Of course fans of TRUE BLOOD that have read the original Charlaine Harris books were more than a little dismayed that Pulver’s character Claudine Crane the fairy was brutally killed by Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) last season.
However, while she was promoting a new season of PBS’ SHERLOCK she said she might be able to come back to TRUE BLOOD in the new year.
“It wouldn’t surprise me if she appears as some crazy Eric Northman sex dream at some point in season five,” she laughs. “I wouldn’t put that past Alan Ball at all. I can deal with. If Alex Skarsgard has to eat my neck for another season I can deal with it. We’ll see what happens. I have no idea; obviously they don’t stay rigid to the books.”
So there you have it folks. Maybe old Claudine is gone but not forgotten. Here’s hoping she might actually come back in the flesh as well and get to do some of the fairy plot from the books!
