Tim Burton’s latest stop motion film follow A NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS and THE CORPSE BRIDE is actually a blast from the past. FRANKENWEENIE is a black and white stop-motion film based on the live action Disney short he did in 1984 before he hit it big with PEE-WEE’S BIG ADVENTURE and BEETLEJUICE.
The first FRANKENWEENIE trailer has finally made its debut, and you can check it out below.
The film arrives October 5 and features the voices of Winona Ryder, Martin Short and Catherine O’Hara. Surprisingly, there’s no Johnny Depp voice cameo this time out.
