As HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER heads into its eighth season, today at the Summer 2012 CBS Press Tour, CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler revealed she’s very optimistic for securing another season of their hit series.
“They had an incredible year last year and we have a great relationship with [creators] Craig [Thomas] and Carter [Bays] and they have a strategic wrap up of the show,” says Tassler. “They know they want the show coming back next year, so we’re having conversations now about extending it and we want it back next year.”
