Walt Disney Studios held the U.S. Premiere of MARVEL’S THOR: THE DARK WORLD not so long ago. I’m sorry Assignment X readers that this is late going up, but I had computer problems, which is now fixed, so I hope you still enjoy seeing everything.
Unfortunately, Nathan Fillion walked half of the carpet, then went and posed with Zachary Levi and Tom Hiddleston and decided not to walk the rest of the carpet and wouldn’t stop no matter how loud everyone yelled Nathan. Of course, I was at the end where he didn’t pose.
The premiere was held at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. Walking the carpet were the stars of the film, which included: Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Kat Dennings, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Jaimie Alexander, Zachary Levi, Ray Stevenson, Tdanobu Asano, Jonathan Howard, Kevin Feige (Producer), Stan Lee (Executive Producer), Alan Taylor (Director) and Brian Tyler (Composer).
Joining them were guests, which included: Luca Bella Facinelli, Maria Menounos, James Gunn, Devon Leos, Bradley Steven Perry, Tahj Mowry, Jake Short, Clark Gregg, Chris Hardwick, Chloe Dykstra, Elizabeth Henstridge, Iain De Caestecker, Nathan Fillion, Rick Baker, Callan Mulvey, Rachel Thomas, Luke Benward, Chelsea Kane, Derek Theler, Benjamin King, Chloe Bennet, Debby Ryan, Paris Berelc, Ming-Na Wen, Brett Dalton, Liam Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Neal McDonough, Anna Hutchison, Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, and Karen Gillan.
The wonderful part of the evening was that Skype brought the premiere to the patients at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and treated them to besides a special screening, but the excitement of the red carpet. The stars were able to speak and directly interact with the children at the hospital. It was a night that they will remember!
