Marvel Studios’ held the world premiere of DOCTOR STRANGE on October 20th at the El Captain Theatre in Hollywood. DOCTOR STRANGE has been number one in the box office since it opened on November 4th.
DOCTOR STRANGE follows the journey of neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), whose life changes after a horrific car accident, which robs him of the use of his hands. Looking for a place to heal him, he discovers powerful magic in a mysterious place known as Kamar-Taj. Kamar-Taj is not just a center for healing, but the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying our reality. Armed with magical powers he is forced to choose whether or not to return to his life of fortune and status or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence.
Seen walking the carpet were the stars of the film, which included: Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton, Mads Mikkelsen, Benedict Wong, Benjamin Bratt, David Grant (Co-Producer), Scott Derrickson (Director/Writer), John Spaihts and C. Robert Cargill (Writers), Stan Lee and Stephen Broussard (Executive Producers), Michael Giacchino (Composer), and Kevin Feige (President of Marvel Studios/Producer).
Joining them were guests, which included: Robert Downey Jr., Sophie Hunter, Chachi Gonzales, Miles Brown, Gabriel Luna, Patton Oswalt, Raymond Cham Jr., Pearce Joza, Alyssa Jirrels, Nathaniel Potvin, Elodie Yung, Jason O’Mara, Ambassador Pritan Ambroase, Adam McArthur, Molly Quinn, Michael Rooker, Garrett Clayton, Steve Brundge, Allison Holker, Twitch, James Gunn, Griffin Gluck, Chris Hardwick, Lydia Hearst, Eoin Macken, Forever In Your Mind, Victor Ortiz, Ming-Na Wen, Elsa Zylberstein, Lucas Grabeel, and Titus Welliver.
