It’s all over! The new champs of DANCING WITH THE STARS: Season 22 are Nyle Dimarco & Peta Murgatroyd! Despite being deaf, Dimarco held his own throughout the season touching everyone with his resilience and strength to overcome any obstacles, including actually hearing the music his was gyrating and shaking too. Paige Van Zant & Mark Ballas came in second and Ginger Zee & Val Chmerkovskiy came in third. Dimarco marks the first nonhearing contestant to ever win the competition. His touching fusion dance brought him and many others to tears, earning him and Murgatroyd a perfect score to end the season and win the mirror ball trophy. Season 23 starts in September, stay tuned.
