What does a celeb have to do to get a 9 out of the DANCING WITH THE STARS judges? The entire Most Memorable Night was lauded with stern critiques and rampant 7s and 6s, with an occasional 8. Then, Nyle Dimarco & Peta Murgatroyd took to the dance floor and out came the season’s very first 9! It’s about time! Dimarco & Murgatroyd danced to the top of the leader board with Wayna Morris & Lindsey Arnold right behind them with 24 points. Tied for third was Jodie Sweetin & Keo Motsepe and Paige Van Zant & Mark Ballas. At the bottom was Mischa Barton & Artem Chigvintsev, who also were eliminated tonight. Stay tuned!

Tender. Tonioli said her Contemporary was well played. Goodman said he wanted more fluidity. Inaba called it beautiful.

More walking. Inaba said to work on her musicality. Goodman called her Samba her best. Tonioli said she needed to be more engaged.
