What does a celeb have to do to get a 9 out of the DANCING WITH THE STARS judges? The entire Most Memorable Night was lauded with stern critiques and rampant 7s and 6s, with an occasional 8. Then, Nyle Dimarco & Peta Murgatroyd took to the dance floor and out came the season’s very first 9! It’s about time! Dimarco & Murgatroyd danced to the top of the leader board with Wayna Morris & Lindsey Arnold right behind them with 24 points. Tied for third was Jodie Sweetin & Keo Motsepe and Paige Van Zant & Mark Ballas. At the bottom was Mischa Barton & Artem Chigvintsev, who also were eliminated tonight. Stay tuned!

Strong. Len Goodman said it didn’t look like a Paso Doble. Carrie Ann Inaba called her Paso bad ass. Bruno Tonioli loved the energy.

She exudes light. Inaba called her bright. Goodman said he was happy with her Jive. Tonioli called her a hot canary.

Powerful. Inaba called his Contemporary pleasant. Goodman said he gave it a hundred percent. Tonioli told him to work on his turns.

Antonio Brown (football player) and his partner Sharna Burgess
Ah so sweet. Inaba called his Foxtrot awesome. Goodman said it was not refined. Tonioli told him not to skip.

Special. Inaba called her inspiring. Goodman called her Foxtrot wonderful. Tonioli said it was her best performance.

Regal. Inaba called him a rocket. Goodman said he had lovely fluidity in his Waltz. Tonioli said it was majestic.

Her best! Inaba said she and her partner were the A Team! Goodman called her Foxtrot smooth. Tonioli told her to watch her shoulders.

Tender. Tonioli said her Contemporary was well played. Goodman said he wanted more fluidity. Inaba called it beautiful.

More walking. Inaba said to work on her musicality. Goodman called her Samba her best. Tonioli said she needed to be more engaged.

Nyle Dimarco (America’s Next Top Model winner) (actor)  and his partner Peta Murgatroyd
Miraculous. Inaba said he was better than Superman. Goodman said he lost his frame a bit. Tonioli said that is what he was waiting for all night.

Doug Flutie (Sports Icon) and his partner Karina Smirnoff
Graceful until a slight slip. Inaba said he shone brightly in his Waltz. Goodman said there was emotion to it. Tonioli said it was done very well.
