“To Go Where No One Has Gone Before.” After 50 years since it first aired CBS is bringing STAR TREK back with a new cast. STAR TREK: DISCOVERY will premiere on CBS Television Network on September 24th and after that it will air on CBS All Access.
On September 19th a premiere was held at the ArcLight Cinerama Dome and stars from STAR TREK: DISCOVERY, STAR TREK: THE ORIGINAL SERIES, STAR TREK: THE NEXDT GENERATION, STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE, and STAR TREK: VOYAGER walked the red carpet. It was a dream premiere for the many STAR TREK fans that showed up.
Seen walking the carpet were the stars of the new show: Sonequa Martin-Green, Michelle Yeoh, Jason Isaacs, Doug Jones, Anthony Rapp, Wilson Cruz, Mary Chieffo, Kenneth Mitchell, Rainn Wilson, Shazad Latin, Sam Vartholomeos, James Frain, Mary Wiseman, Claire McConnell, Jeff Russo (Composer), Neville Page (Creature and Concept Designer), Glenn Hetrick (Creature and Makeup Effects Designer), David Semel (Director), and Executive Producers: Alex Kurtzman, Heather Kadin, Gretchen J. Berg, Akiva Goldsman and Aaron Harberts.
Joining them on this special night from the following STAR TREK shows:
STAR TREK: THE ORIGINAL SERIES– William Shatner, and Nichelle Nichols
STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE – John Billingsley, Linda Park, Anthony Montgomery, and Connor Trinneer.
STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION – Jonathan Frakes, and John de Lance.
STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE – Aron Eisenberg, Nana Visitor, Chase Masterson and Terry Farrell.
STAR TREK: VOYAGER – Robert Picardo.
