I thought the biggest shocker of the DANCING WITH THE STARS: Season 27 was the waaaaaay too early elimination of Juan Pablo Di Pace & Cheryl Burke. I was wrong. The biggest shocker is audience favorite and lowest scoring competitors Bobby Bones & Sharna Burgess winning!!! Huh? They like him, they really, really, REALLY like him. And so the show becomes more about popularity than talent more so than ever with Bones’ win. Yes, he is no where near the best dancer, or second best, or third best or even fourth best of the season, but apparently his heart shone through and melted the voting public. Something new this season finale was having all four finalists stand together and await the announcement of the winner instead of whittling it down to two couples before proclaiming the winners. And so it is, DWTS: season 27 is done, next spring DWTS: season 28, stay tuned.

Carrie Ann Inaba called their Argentine Tango poetic. Len Goodman said it was lovely. Bruno Tonioli called it beautiful.

Milo Manheim (actor) and Witney Carson
Inaba called his Charleston amazing. Goodman said he is very mature. Tonioli called it sharp.

Inaba said he defies the laws of dance. Goodman called him a ham. Tonioli said he shined in his Cha Cha.

Inaba called her the most improved dancer. Goodman said she accomplished her mission to perfect the Tango. Tonioli said it was clean.

Free Style
Alexis Ren (model) and Alan Bersten
Inaba said their Free Style was in control. Goodman called it powerful while Tonioli said she was right on top of it.

Milo Manheim (actor) and Witney Carson
Inaba was mind blown by his Free Style. Goodman thought it was brilliant. Tonioli said it was off the charts.

Inaba just thanked him. Goodman called him the people’s champion. Tonioli thought his Free Style was spirited.
