Recently Lionsgate held the World Premiere of THE HUNGER GAMES at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Downtown Los Angeles. This premiere had the same setup as THE TWILIGHT SAGA premieres that have been held down at Nokia…BIG is the word to describe it. Fans of the book series by Suzanne Collins were everywhere. They screamed as the stars arrived. Some wanted autographs and their photo taken with the stars. First Look: The full-length TOTAL RECALL trailer is finally here

Sony Pictures gave a short tease for the new TOTAL RECALL trailer late last week, and now the full-length version has finally arrived. A remake of the classic 1990 Arnold Schwarzenegger film, the new Len Wiseman directed film based on the Philip L. Dick novel puts Colin Farrell in the title role of a man in the distant future who is discovers his memories have been falsified and realizes he’s a spy and now must escape the futuristic bad guys trying to stop him. They say that there are only seven stories, aka plots, and that every story we’ve ever read, heard, or seen in a film, is either one of those seven, or a combination of one or more of them. Proof of this was recently hammered home in a big way via the AVATAR/POCAHONTAS/FERNGULLY debacle. Wondercon News: Director Timur Bekmambetov talks WANTED 2

While speaking to the press at Wondercon 2012 about ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER, screenwriter and author Seth Grahame-Smith spoke about the long-delayed PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES movie that’s based on another one of his popular hybrid novels. “The script by David O. Russell and Marti Noxon is fantastic,” says Grahame-Smith. “It’s ready to go. We just need to find the right director and star to do it.
