Diane Lane cast as Martha Kent in new SUPERMAN movie

Warner Bros. just announced that actress Diane Lane will be cast as Martha Kent in the new SUPERMAN movie reboot directed by Zack Snyder. In the press release, Snyder notes, “This was a very important piece of casting for me because Martha Kent is the woman whose values helped shape the man we know as Superman. We are thrilled to have Diane in the role because she can convey the wisdom and the wonder of a woman whose son has powers beyond her imagination.” Henry Cavill stars as the new Clark Kent/Superman. Bosley gets an upgrade in new CHARLIE’S ANGELS TV reboot

The pilot for the new CHARLIE’S ANGELS TV reboot is almost underway, and BATTLE: LA actor Ramon Rodriguez revealed yesterday that the role of Bosley, who he will be playing, is going to be completely different from what we’ve seen before. “The mere fact of them casting me, it shows they’re going in a new direction –  with respect to everyone else,” says Rodriguez. “This is a whole new take. While speaking to the press yesterday for the new alien invasion flick BATTLE: LA (which hits theaters on March 11), director Jonathan Liebesman was actually rather forthcoming about his plans for his next film WRATH OF THE TITANS, the sequel to last year’s CLASH OF THE TITANS. It’s taken some time, but the title of SPIDER-MAN 4 aka the SPIDER-MAN reboot movie is finally here and it is … THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. That’s not surprising, considering the title is also shared with one of the longest running SPIDER-MAN comic book series. Also released is a photo of Garfield in full costume  – hopefully to quell fears that the behind-the-scenes footage of the Spidey-costume will look better when properly lit (it does).
