In NBC’s freshman comedy EXTENDED FAMILY, airing Tuesday nights, Abigail Spencer plays high-level executive Julia Mariano. Julia is amicably divorced from Jim Kearney (Jon Cryer), with whom she has two children, Grace (Sophia Cappana) and Jimmy Jr. (Finn Sweeney). To make the split easier on the youngsters, Julia and Jim are practicing “nesting,” where the kids stay in the home, with the adults moving in and out, depending on who is on deck as supervising parent. LETHAL WEAPON, now in its second season Tuesday night on Fox Networks, is based on the popular buddy cop film franchise. In the movies, Danny Glover played uptight police detective and family man Roger Murtaugh, who winds up paired with unstable widower Martin Riggs, portrayed by Mel Gibson. In the LETHAL WEAPON TV series, Damon Wayans is now Murtaugh and Clayne Crawford is Riggs. Clayne Crawford is having a wonderful fall season. The actor from Alabama stars in Fox Networks’ new Wednesday-night action series LETHAL WEAPON, which premiered September 21. Based on the feature film franchise, LETHAL WEAPON has Crawford cast as dangerously daredevil – and heartbroken – L.A.P.D. cop Martin Riggs, opposite Damon Wayans’ more cautious fellow police detective Roger Murtaugh.
