Check out the brand new THE AVENGERS character posters

With THE AVENGERS set to hit theaters on May 4 featuring Marvel’s greatest heroes together in one movie, the marketing machine is kicking into high gear with six brand new posters from the film. Each one displays two heroes per poster, giving us some major action with established players Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man aka Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.), Nick Fury (Samuel L. Columbia Pictures recently held the premiere of 21 JUMP STREET at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Taken after the television show (1987-1991) of the same name, which starred Johnny Depp, Holly Robinson Peete (who stars in the film), Dustin Nguyen, Peter DeLuise and Richard Grieco. The film version has the same premise; two young looking guys from the police force go undercover in a local high school to investigate a drug ring. SALMON FISHING IN THE YEMEN is the story about a visionary sheik (Amr Waked) that has a dream to bring salmon fishing to the desert. Instructing his representative Harriet (Emily Blunt) to make his dream come true. Ewan McGregor portrays Dr. Alfred Jones, a leading Fisheries expert. Unfortunately, he happens to think the project is absurd and unachievable. After major delays to the long-awaited reboot of THE LONE RANGER franchise, Walt Disney Pictures just released this cool new image from the Gore Verbinski directed film. Armie Hammer (THE SOCIAL NETWORK) plays John Reid, the masked man, while Johnny Depp is his sidekick Tonto. Should be interesting to see how this turns out. Tim Burton’s latest stop motion film follow A NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS and THE CORPSE BRIDE is actually a blast from the past. FRANKENWEENIE is a black and white stop-motion film based on the live action Disney short he did in 1984 before he hit it big with PEE-WEE’S BIG ADVENTURE and BEETLEJUICE. The first FRANKENWEENIE trailer has finally made its debut, and you can check it out below. The film arrives October 5 and features the voices of Winona Ryder, Martin Short and Catherine O’Hara.
