In 2008,  Joss Whedon creating DR. HORRIBLE’S SING-ALONG BLOG for streaming on the Internet and DVD, now it will get a formal network airing on the CW this fall. Starring Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion and Felicia Day, having the project air on network TV was a no brainer for The CW President Mark Pedowitz who spoke about the decision at today’s Summer 2012 TCA Press Tour. “I’ve been a big fan of DR. The 2000 Japanese movie BATTLE ROYALE has been discussed as a possible series to be developed for the CW, but at today’s 2012 TCA The CW Press Tour, The CW President Mark Pedowitz says they’re only in the discussion stages right now. “It’s amazing what happens when you just have a phone call and a discussion,” says Pedowitz. “We’d love to do it. When CBS announced its Fall 2012, one notable series was absence – the freshman procedural series UNFORGETTABLE.
