I have to admit, my interest in the new THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN movie hasn’t been as rabid as my interest in the other superhero movies this summer (and you know who you are). Maybe it had to do with loving the Sam Raimi incarnation, or maybe it just felt that the Spider-Man world had been exhausted in the film world. Preview: Watch the JOHN CARTER Extended Super Bowl trailer

Walt Disney released the current trailer to their big March 8 fantasy film JOHN CARTER. It’s directed by Pixar alum Andrew Stanton and it’s really shaping up to look like an epic film mixing STAR WARS (the prequel trilogy) mixed with LORD OF THE RINGS. Yes, it’s time for Marvel’s team of superheroes to assemble as THE AVENGERS Extended Super Bowl trailer finally hits the web. The movie, which arrives May 4, features Iron Man, The Hulk, Hawkeye, Thor, Captain America, Black Widow and Nick Fury and is written and directed by Joss Whedon. Even though the new trailer doesn’t offer too much more than what we’ve seen previously, it’s still pretty clear this is going to be a must-see movie come May. It’s been ten years since Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones put on their suits and fought aliens, now they’re back in black with MEN IN BLACK 3 directed by Barry Sonnenfeld (who helmed the previous films). The new trailer just hit the web which incorporates time travel into the mix and a young 1969 version of Jones’ Agent K played by Josh Brolin. Financier Gladwin Gill developing new projects as RA.ONE hits India. Gladwin Gill recently hosted a private screening in Beverly Hills, CA of RA.ONE and also announced that over the next two years his is developing more film and television projects that will be released in both Hollywood and Bollywood.

Marvel and DC comics should be looking over their shoulders as the new Hindi superhero movie RA.ONE recently took India by storm breaking boxoffice records. Hitting theaters on November 18, directed by Bill Condon (GODS AND MONSTERS) and based on the novel by Stephanie Meyer, this is the first full-length trailer for the eagerly anticipated vampires vs. werewolves vs. the Vultari film.
