Walter Koenig recently got the 2,479th Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the Category of Television. Walter’s star is located at 6679 Hollywood Boulevard in front of the Board Walk Restaurant and near the star of George Takei. Opening the ceremony was Leron Gubler, President/CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, who spoke about Walter to a crowd of fans and press that attended the ceremony. Universal Studios Hollywood held the Annual EYEGORE AWARDS in celebration of the opening of HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS recently. The EYEGORE AWARDS honor horror genre’s top stars and filmmakers. This year’s EYEGORE AWARD honorees included Oscar-nominated Mexican filmmaker Guillermo del Toro (HELLBOY and PAN’S LABYRINTH), Chad Michael Murray (HOUSE OF WAX), GRIMM stars Silas Weir Mitchell and Bitsie Tulloch accepted an award on behalf of the NBC’s hit series, Angelica Maria and Angelica Vale – the mother-daughter duo accepted the award for their role in MUJERES ASESINAS 2 (FEMALE ASSASSINS 2). The Paley Center for Media this month held the FALL TV PREVIEW PARTIES featuring Network shows from NBC, CBS, WB, FOX and ABC. These festivals give the fans a chance to see the shows before they are on the air, and each night they were treated to a Q&A session with the Stars and Creative Team of the show featured. September 21st was such a special and exciting day as the Space Shuttle ENDEAVOUR made its last voyage on top of a re-vamped 747 to the Los Angeles International Airport, as I am sure that most of you saw on television. On September 4th CBS Films held the Los Angeles Premiere of THE WORDS at the ArcLight Hollywood. It was a small premiere with the fans at the end of the carpet that waited patiently to get an autograph and a picture with the stars. Recently Tri Star Pictures’ held the World Premiere of SPARKLE at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Recently Fox Searchlight Pictures held the Los Angeles Premiere of RUBY SPARKS at the Lloyd E. Rigler Theatre at The Egyptian in Hollywood. RUBY SPARKS is the story of Calvin (Paul Dano), a young novelist who after achieving success early in his career finds himself struggling with his writing and his romantic life.
