Universal Pictures presented the American Premiere of OBLIVION at the Dolby Theatre, where the Academy Awards are held in Hollywood on April 10th. It was a big setup with Hollywood Blvd. closed from Highland to Orange, fans on both sides of the street and in pens on the black carpet. The press was asked to check-in by 4:30 pm, because Tom Cruise who loves his fans was arriving early to sign autographs and take pictures with as many fans as he could. Paramount Pictures, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures and Skydance Productions, in association with Hasbro presented A di Bonaventura Pictures Production G.I. JOE: RETALIATION on March 28th at the Los Angeles Premiere held at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. The fans screamed very loudly when Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson arrived, which alerted the media that the main stars had arrived at the premiere. Recently Warner Bros. Pictures held the World Premiere of THE INCREDIBLE BURT WONDERSTONE at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Just like most of the premieres held in Hollywood fans lined up across the street from the theatre hoping that the stars would come over to sign autographs, take pictures with them. Open Road Films held the World Premiere for THE HOST on March 19th at the ArcLight Hollywood Cinerama Dome. Fans were across from where I shot, and on risers and over by the door of the theatre. Subway gave sandwiches out to all the media, fans, stars and everyone else that walked the carpet. T-shirts were handed out to the fans as they waited patiently to get a picture with their favorites and an autograph. Disney held the World Premiere of OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL recently at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. Before the premiere started a big blue balloon was blown up and James Franco climbed on board. This was for the opening scene of the Jimmy Kimmel Show, which he was a guest later on in the evening.
