Your guide to some of the new releases that are out this week. THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN – They don’t make movies like this much anymore in Hollywood. In previous decades, movies like this were common like FATAL ATTRACTION, THE HAND THAT ROCKS THE CRADLE, THE AFFAIR and many more. THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN is all about smoke and mirrors, building a case that someone has committed a brutal murder without having all […]Read On »

ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS | © 2016 Disney Home Video

UP FROM THE DEPTHS - DEMON OF PARADISE - Roger Corman's Cult Classics | ©2011 Shout! Factory

While the Roger Corman Cult Classics releases have featured, for the most part, the best the famed producer has had to offer from the late ‘70s and early ‘80s, the double feature of UP FROM THE DEPTHS/DEMON OF PARADISE scrapes the bottom of the underwater barrel.

DVD Review: THE EVIL/TWICE DEAD – Roger Corman’s Cult Classics Double Feature

THE EVIL/TWICE DEAD - ROGER CORMAN CULT CLASSICS DOUBLE FEATURE | ©2010 Shout! Factory

Clearly, THE EVIL is the “A” title of this B-movie package. Even with its massive shortcomings, it’s an effective little horror thriller starring Richard Crenna as a psychologist who decides to fix up an old mansion as a potential rehabilitation clinic.
