TCA News: ABC Family thrilled with the success of THE LYING GAME

Breaking News: Kiefer Sutherland says 24 movie will shoot this Spring

Fans of 24 have been waiting patiently for two years for the official greenlight of a movie based on the hit Fox series 24 and at today’s Fox TCA press session to promote his new Fox series TOUCH, Sutherland confirmed that the movie is now on the fast track. “Hopefully we’ll be shooting end of April, beginning of May,” says Sutherland. With Howard Stern set to take over for Piers Morgan on AMERICA’S GOT TALENT this summer, NBC has been taken to task by the Parents Television Council (PTC) for this decision, worried that Stern will tarnish the show’s family-friendly image. One of the biggest surprises this December was the ratings success for the limited return of NBC’s once seminal reality series FEAR FACTOR.
