IFC’s BROCKMIRE premieres its fourth and final season on Wednesday, March 18. The dark comedy about sometimes out of control baseball play-by-play announcer Jim Brockmire, played by Hank Azaria, jumps ten years into the future. The once-disgraced main character becomes the baseball commissioner. Amanda Peet plays Jules James, owner of the small Florida team the Morristown Frackers and Brockmire’s occasional lover. In Netflix’s new animated series DISENCHANTMENT, tough Princess Bean (voiced by Abbi Jacobson) goes on a quest with optimistic elf Elfo (voiced by Nat Faxon) and personal demon Luci (voiced by Eric Andre). This may sound a little like either a Disney feature or a Saturday-morning show, but DISENCHANTED is created by Matt Groening, who brought forth THE SIMPSONS and FUTURAMA, and Josh Weinstein, who has been a writer and producer on the two Groening series. Fans came together to watch 500 continuous episodes of THE SIMPSONS in a building put together in the middle of the courtyard with oversized couches and a huge television.
