Exclusive Photos from Marvel’s THE AVENGERS World Premiere

Marvel Studios in association with Paramount Pictures and Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures recently held the World Premiere of Marvel’s THE AVENGERS at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. Shutting down Hollywood Boulevard from Highland to Orange, fans lined both sides of the street to see the stars arrive for the most anticipated movie event of the year. TCA 2011 News: ABC still working on THE INCREDIBLE HULK TV series (and a Marvel character will also be on CASTLE this year)

With Marvel now part of the Disney (and ABC fold), ABC Entertainment President Paul Lee said today during his Television Critics Association executive session that he’s very eager to bring Marvel characters to the network. Since he was a child, writer-director Reginald Hudlin (HOUSE PARTY, BOOMERANG) has been a fan of Marvel’s BLACK PANTHER comic book. In fact, for the last two decades, he’s been attached in one way or another to aborted feature film adaptations of the character. TCA 2011: ABC looking to Marvel to potentially fuel its genre slate
