The U.S. premiere of Disney’s ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS was held May 23rd at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. The story continues with Alice (Mia Wasikowska) returning to the Underland to save her friend the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp). ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS is based on characters created by Lewis Carroll and reunites the cast from Disney’s ALICE IN WONDERLAND (2010). Recently Columbia Pictures presented the World Premiere of THIS IS THE END at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood. Fans were 3 rows deep this night to catch the stars as they arrived, and of course they screamed like they usually do! Most of the signs were for Emma Watson, who starred in the HARRY POTTER films, and since she resides in England the fans were doubly excited! Columbia Pictures and Marvel Entertainment held The World Premiere of THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood on June 28th. Peter Parker is back, but this time Andrew Garfield assumes the role. This film focuses on an untold story of Peter Parker and how he got to be the person he is today. Screen Gems and Lakeshore Entertainment held the World Premiere of UNDERWORLD: AWAKENING at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on January 19th. Kate Beckinsale, the star of the first two films, returns to the franchise as the vampire warrioress Selene. Shot in 3D, it brings an excitement to the film as this time the humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans and want to eradicate both immortal species.
