Walt Disney Studios held the U.S. Premiere of MARVEL’S THOR: THE DARK WORLD not so long ago. I’m sorry Assignment X readers that this is late going up, but I had computer problems, which is now fixed, so I hope you still enjoy seeing everything. The Fall Television season is not that far away and soon new shows will be airing on the main networks and there are a lot of really good ones coming up. Recently Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Junk Food Clothing held an event at Meltdown Comics in Hollywood for the launch of products inspired by the 1960’s BATMAN CLASSIC TV Series. The BATMOBILE was parked in front of the store where Adam West posed when he first arrived. Some of the stars took turns posing in the car. Recently Tri Star Pictures’ held the World Premiere of SPARKLE at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. SPARKLE was the last movie that Whitney Houston (who was also Executive Producer) did before she passed away and stars and guests came out to honor her. Warner Bros. Pictures held the World Premiere recently for MAGIC MIKE at the Regal Cinemas L.A. Live in Los Angeles, as the closing night gala of the 2012 Los Angeles Film Festival. MAGIC MIKE makes me think of Chippendale’s, where male strippers dressed in costume and performed for women of all ages, as the patrons screamed and stuffed money into the pants of the strippers…and no men were allowed in! The World Premiere of Disney’s PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES was held May 7th at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. This is the second part of our photo coverage. Arriving at Disneyland at 4:00pm the press gathered in the Media Center, which was located inside the Mr. Lincoln’s Theater at the beginning of Main Street. Finally, all of the press was escorted out to the “black” carpet to take our spots and wait for the premiere to start. The arrivals were 3 hours long to accommodate all the stars and the guests.
