Columbia Pictures recently held the premiere of 21 JUMP STREET at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Taken after the television show (1987-1991) of the same name, which starred Johnny Depp, Holly Robinson Peete (who stars in the film), Dustin Nguyen, Peter DeLuise and Richard Grieco. The film version has the same premise; two young looking guys from the police force go undercover in a local high school to investigate a drug ring. DreamWorks Animation held the Los Angeles Premiere of PUSS IN BOOTS on October 23rd at the Regency Theater in Westwood. Closing the street where the theater is located, the “beige” carpet, had backdrops that looked like sets from the film. Costumed PUSS IN BOOTS and Kitty Softpaws walked the carpet, plus before the premiere started Spanish dancers came down the carpet. Fans lined the street to see the stars and guests that attended this early Sunday morning premiere.
