In Fox Network’s Wednesday-night limited series SHOTS FIRED, created by Gina Prince-Bythewood and Reggie Bythewood, a special prosecutor (Stephan James) and his top investigator (Sanaa Lathan) are called in to handle a case in a small North Carolina town. The only black law enforcement officer on the local force has shot and killed a white teenager, Jesse Carr. On TOUCH, now in its second season on Fox, Fridays at 9 PM, Kiefer Sutherland plays Martin Bohm, a single father since his wife died in the 9/11 attacks. Martin’s now eleven-year-old son Jake (David Mazouz) doesn’t speak, but he has the ability to foresee intricately connected events before they even happen. The series chronicles the personal and professional relationship of FBI agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) and forensic pathologist Dr. Temperance “Bones” Brennan (Emily Deschanel) as they solve murders. TOUCH creator/writer/producer Tim Kring has a fundamental attraction to storylines about things that bring people together.
