COASTAL ELITES premieres Saturday, September 12, on HBO. Writer Paul Rudnick had scripted what the network describes as a “socially distanced comedy” feature prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, Rudnick adapted his work to address the current situation. COVID-19 has dictated that the Television Critics Association Summer 2020 press tour takes place entirely online.
