Recently Paramount Home Entertainment held a celebration for the SUPER 8 release on Blu-ray and DVD debut at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Beverly Hills. Walking the carpet were the stars of the film, which included: Elle Fanning, Joe Courtney, Ryan Lee, Gabriel Basso, Ben Gavin, Riley Griffiths, Zach Miller, David Gallagher, Amanda Michalka, Glynn Turman, Joel McKinnon Miller, Jessica Tuck, Britt Flatmo, Beau Knapp, and J.J. Abrams (Director/Writer). Paramount Pictures, Bad Robot and Amblin Entertainment Productions held the Los Angeles Premiere of SUPER 8 at the Regency Village in Westwood June 8th. It’s the summer of 1979, and a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie. Soon though they suspect the crash was not an accident.
