THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, the conclusion of  the Christopher Nolan directed BATMAN series, kicked off shooting this week. And Warner Bros. just released the first official image from the production featuring Tom Hardy as the villainous Bane (you can check it out below). Could the anticipation for this new movie be any cooler? The film brings back Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne aka Batman and will hit theaters on July 20, 2012. So what does everyone think? Now that the heroes have almost all been cast for the new Superman movie reboot MAN OF STEEL (which is what Warner Bros. is now officially calling the film ), it’s time to move on to casting the villains. Warner Bros. was so excited by the fan reaction to the GREEN LANTERN footage at yesterday’s WonderCon 2011 panel in San Francisco, they’ve just released an abbreviated version of it online today. It’s pretty cool stuff and sheds a completely different light on the DC Comic movie adaptation (which arrives June 17). The movie stars Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively.
