Fox Network’s Monday-night thriller series PRODIGAL SON is the creation of executive producers/show runners Chris Fedak and Sam Sklaver. The title of PRODIGAL SON refers to NYPD homicide consultant, profiler Malcolm Bright (Tom Payne). Malcolm has a lot of deep-rooted psychological problems stemming from the fact that his father, Martin Whitly (Michael Sheen), is a prolific serial killer, now incarcerated in a mental institution. HIGH & MIGHTY is a superhero tale with a twist from creator Cesar Mazariegos. In the series, now streaming its first season on Warner Bros.’ digital platform Stage 13, slacker Chelo Chavez (Jorge Diaz) finds that he has superpowers – but only when he’s high. “The powers correlate to how he feels,” Mazariegos explains. “So when he’s drunk, he feels super-strong, and he’s impenetrable, and he can break bricks. ABC’s new series DECEPTION, which premieres Sunday, March 11, deals with the intersection of stage magic, a la David Blaine, and crime solving. When headliner magician Cameron Black, played by Jack Cutmore-Scott, is entangled in a murder, his efforts to clear his name cause him to team up with FBI agent Kay Daniels (Ilfenesh Hadera), which helps her sleuthing as well.
