On September 4th CBS Films held the Los Angeles Premiere of THE WORDS at the ArcLight Hollywood. It was a small premiere with the fans at the end of the carpet that waited patiently to get an autograph and a picture with the stars. Tri Star Pictures and ,held the Los Angeles World Premiere of SOUL SURFER at the ArcLight Cinerama Dome on March 30th. The carpet and backdrop was blue like the ocean with a spot that had sand and surfboards.  SOUL SURFER is the true story of teen surfer Bethany Hamilton (portrayed by AnnaSophia Robb), who lost her arm in a shark attack.
