THE MUPPETS showed up in Hollywood recently to celebrate the World Premiere of their movie THE MUPPETS from Disney at the El Capitan Theatre. Sweetums was the first to walk down the green carpet to greet all the press. Followed by Kermit, Fozzie Bear, Animal, Rowlf and Walter in a black Chrysler Jeep Wrangler, who was a sponsor and then Miss Piggy rode up in a Silver Chrysler convertible smiling at all the press. Disney•Pixar held the World Premiere of CARS 2 at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on June 18th. Hollywood Boulevard was transformed into the World Grand Prix between Highland and Orange. Life-Size remote-controlled cars of Lightning McQueen, Mater and Finn McMissile came down the black carpet, which looked like a racetrack. The backdrop was so cool as, like the movie, cars looked liked they were sitting in the stands. The press section was built on a riser so we looked down onto the carpet. Can you believe it’s been twenty years since Walt Disney Pictures released the live action movie THE ROCKETEER, based on the comic books by Dave Stevens? Well, now D23 (the only official fan club for Disney) and Creature Features are presenting a very special event at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on June 21st. Walt Disney Pictures held the World Premiere of MARS NEEDS MOMS on March 6th at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. When nine-year-old Milo (Seth Green) finds that his mom (Joan Cusack) was nabbed by Martians he decides to go on a quest to save her. What do the Martians want with his mom?
