The half-hour comedy MURPHY BROWN, about an opinionated TV journalist played by Candice Bergen, ran on CBS for ten seasons, 1988-1998. Over those years, MURPHY BROWN racked up multiple Emmy and Golden Globes wins for Outstanding Comedy and for Bergen, as well as other awards. Now Bergen and series creator Diane English are back with CBS’s series revival of MURPHY BROWN on Thursday nights, with a Thanksgiving episode airing on November 22. Exclusive Photos: From the PROM World Premiere

Disney held the World Premiere of PROM at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on April 21st.  Most of the stars and the guests wore prom dresses and tuxedos as they walked the red carpet. The women were given on check-in wrist corsages and the men a label corsage. Disney had requested that the guests bring a gently worn prom or special occasion dress to donate to LA’s Prom Closet, which is a 100% volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to helping young women in high school attend their senior prom by providing students new and used gowns for FREE.
