Julianne Moore was recently honored with the 2,507th Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the Category of Motion Pictures next to the W Hollywood Hotel in Hollywood. Moore who is starring in the remake of the 1976 CARRIE in the role of Margaret White made famous by Piper Laurie, along with Chloe Grace Moretz who stars as Carrie in this version made famous by Sissy Spacek. Vin Diesel received the 2,504th Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the Category of Motion Pictures on August 26th. The star is located in front of the historic Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel on Hollywood Boulevard. It was a very hot day and unfortunately I landed up sitting in the sun and thought I was going to melt. Hugh Jackman was thrilled by the ceremony and after being introduced by Leron Gubler (Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, President/CEO) who spoke about Jackman’s film and stage career, Gubler then introduced Jay Leno who was the guest speaker for the day. Walter’s star is located at 6679 Hollywood Boulevard in front of the Board Walk Restaurant and near the star of George Takei.
