In NEXT, Tuesday nights on Fox, series creator Manny Coto postulates that an artificial intelligence has reached self-awareness, and wants to get rid of humanity. The A.I.’s regretful inventor, billionaire Paul LeBlanc (John Slattery), enlists government cyber-security expert Shea Salazar (Fernanda Andrade) and her team in an effort to stop neXt. Jason Butler Harner plays Ted LeBlanc, Paul’s younger brother, who has taken over the company Paul founded. Recently Universal Pictures and Studiocanal held the World Premiere of NON-STOP at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood. Fans lined the sidewalks across from the theatre in hopes of getting autographs and screaming when the stars arrive. Of course, this is the same as what happens with every premiere. You can tell when the big stars arrive as the screaming gets louder.
