The World Premiere of Warner Bros. Pictures MAGIC MIKE XXL was held at the TCL Chinese Theater, Hollywood, California on June 25th. Opening the premiere were guy dancers who proceeded to entertain the press like “Chippendale” dancers. After they finished the stars started to walk the carpet. Eric Winter was brought to the attention of the WITCHES OF EAST END producers, according to Lifetime executive vice-president and general manager Rob Sharenow, because the actor attended a Christmas party with his wife Rosalyn Sanchez, who is a regular on Lifetime’s DEVIOUS MAIDS. Warner Bros. Pictures held the World Premiere recently for MAGIC MIKE at the Regal Cinemas L.A. Live in Los Angeles, as the closing night gala of the 2012 Los Angeles Film Festival. MAGIC MIKE makes me think of Chippendale’s, where male strippers dressed in costume and performed for women of all ages, as the patrons screamed and stuffed money into the pants of the strippers…and no men were allowed in! Columbia Pictures recently held the premiere of 21 JUMP STREET at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Taken after the television show (1987-1991) of the same name, which starred Johnny Depp, Holly Robinson Peete (who stars in the film), Dustin Nguyen, Peter DeLuise and Richard Grieco. The film version has the same premise; two young looking guys from the police force go undercover in a local high school to investigate a drug ring.
