On July 29th a big party was held by CBS/The CW/Showtime for the Television Critics Annual Summer Press Tour at The Event, which is actually the upper parking lot where the department store Robinson’s/May in Beverly Hills used to be. Jerry Bruckheimer celebrated his 40-year career on June 24th by receiving the 2,501st star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the Category of Motion Pictures. The Jerry Bruckheimer Walk of Fame star is located in front of the El Capitan Theatre, which was very fitting since THE PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN series, and the soon to be released THE LONE RANGER and many other films were released by Disney.
