The U.S. premiere of Disney’s ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS was held May 23rd at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. The story continues with Alice (Mia Wasikowska) returning to the Underland to save her friend the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp). ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS is based on characters created by Lewis Carroll and reunites the cast from Disney’s ALICE IN WONDERLAND (2010). Recently Disney presented the World Premiere of THE ODD LIFE OF TIMOTHY GREEN at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. Closing Hollywood from Highland to Orange the atmosphere of the night was green like a garden, where Timothy Green grows from. Fans lined both sides of the street to get autographs and take pictures of the stars as they arrived. On February 2nd, New Line Cinema held the Los Angeles Premiere of JOURNEY 2: THE MYSTERIOUS ISLAND, a Contrafilm Production at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood. The fans that lined Hollywood Boulevard screamed loudly when Vanessa Hudgens and Dwayne Johnson arrived. Johnson walked across traffic to sign autographs while the press patiently waited for him to come back and walk the carpet. DreamWorks Animation held the Los Angeles Premiere of PUSS IN BOOTS on October 23rd at the Regency Theater in Westwood. Closing the street where the theater is located, the “beige” carpet, had backdrops that looked like sets from the film. Costumed PUSS IN BOOTS and Kitty Softpaws walked the carpet, plus before the premiere started Spanish dancers came down the carpet. Fans lined the street to see the stars and guests that attended this early Sunday morning premiere. Disney held the World Premiere of PROM at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on April 21st.  Most of the stars and the guests wore prom dresses and tuxedos as they walked the red carpet. The women were given on check-in wrist corsages and the men a label corsage. Disney had requested that the guests bring a gently worn prom or special occasion dress to donate to LA’s Prom Closet, which is a 100% volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to helping young women in high school attend their senior prom by providing students new and used gowns for FREE.
