Bronx-born actor Kirk Acevedo has spent a good portion of his performing career playing people on one side or the other of the law. After costarring as a soldier in HBO’s landmark WWII miniseries BAND OF BROTHERS, Acevedo was a series regular in 46 episodes of HBO’s prison drama OZ as inmate Miguel Alvarez. He has guest-starred on the original LAW & ORDER, LAW & ORDER: SVU and LAW & ORDER: TRIAL BY JURY. TCA 2011: NBC says Mariska Hargitay will be in every episode of LAW & ORDER: SVU – Season 13

With Christopher Meloni not returning to LAW & ORDER: SVU this year, rumors had been circulating that Mariska Hargitay would only be doing a handful of episodes of Season 13, but at today’s NBC TCA press day, NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt wanted to clarify the issue. “There has been a lot of confusion about what her involvement with SVU is this year,” says Greenblatt. “And I want to make it clear that she’s going to be in every episode.
