The Chance family on the Greg Garcia-created comedy RAISING HOPE has been through a lot. Jimmy Chance, played by Lucas Neff, started out as a surprised single father of infant daughter Hope after he found out his one-night stand with a serial killer (since executed) had resulted in a child. Actor Garret Dillahunt grew up in Washington State. He’s often associated with portraying ominous folks, though he has had his saintly moments on screen – he was even Jesus Christ in THE BOOK OF DANIEL – and has roots on stage and in comedy. With Fox’s freshman Tuesday night half-hour success RAISING HOPE (returning for new episodes tonight), Dillahunt returns to humor.
