OUTLANDER is now in its fifth season on Starz Sunday nights. Based on the novels by Diana Gabaldon, OUTLANDER tells the story of time-crossed lovers Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe), a World War II nurse turned postwar surgeon, and eighteenth-century Scotsman Jamie Fraser. The Starz series OUTLANDER, now in its third season on Sunday nights, owes its success to many people. The Diana Gabaldon novels, translated for the television screen by Ron Moore, stars Caitriona Balfe as mid-twentieth-century English nurse-turned surgeon Claire Randall and Sam Heughan as her eighteenth-century Highlander soulmate Jamie Fraser.
