When Walt Disney was just getting his feature animated division rolling in the 1940s, he was struggling with a way to bring the story of Rapunzel to the big screen. Now, seven decades later, the 50th animated film from the company has finally cracked that story. Zachary Levi may play a nerdy super spy on TV’s CHUCK, but this Wednesday he’s moonlighting as the roguish animated character Flynn Rider in Disney’s Rapunzel retelling TANGLED (which opens nationwide on Wednesday). It’s the kind of double duty the actor relishes – especially since both parts are so different.
